Tony Award Noms - and a few guesses

June 13 is just over a month away, and that means that the race is really on for the Tony Award nominees. You can check out the Red Carpet webcast beginning at 6:00PM (ET) and then at 7:00PM (ET) you can catch the webcast of the non-televised awards. At 8:00PM (ET) on CBS the fabulosity will begin.

The nominees are listed below along with my pick (in some cases "guess") in orange for who will take home the prizes. You can fill out a ballot of your own on The New York Times site by clicking here.

So, what are your thoughts? Who will win, who SHOULD win... and who got shafted?

Tommy,
Your blogging skills put me to shame. Keep up the good work! I love reading your stuff. :)

Now, for a comment about the Tony noms: Maybe it's because I'm new to NYC but I've seen a number of shows in the last few months and the best things I've seen are shows that have been open for a year or two (i.e. Next to Normal) and have had their day at the Tony's. I want to do my own awards! I could hold "The Mikey's" and issue awards for what I think is the best thing currently running. Let me tell you, it would be a very different list than the one in your blog post!

I think "The Mikey's" would be BRILLIANT!

Make the list and then let's do a comparison. It could become big. An annual award for the best stuff to see regardless of what season it opened in.

You = Genius! :)
